Amo romances distópicos, sim aqueles livros que nos colocam em um futuro imaginário com governos totalitários, ditatoriais que exercem um poder tirânico no seu povo. E uma das obras primas desse gênero é o 1984 do George Orwell escrito em 1948 e lançado em 1949. Está sempre nas listas dos melhores livros do século 20. Faz uma crítica política que é sempre atual. E no final de 2019 a Companhia das Letras fez uma nova edição comemorativa pelos 70 anos do lançamento original e enviou um exemplar para mim. Que presente!! Amei muito!!
Que edição!! Capa dura feita em tecido, lombada impressa. Super caprichada. E com vários textos de apoio de vários autores renomados. Alguns ensaios que dão conta da história da recepção crítica do livro desde o ano de seu lançamento, 1949, até hoje.
Além de fotos de várias edições do mundo inteiro. É uma edição perfeita! Linda de morrer!
Eu já tinha a edição antiga do 1984 da própria Companhia das Letras. Ganhei de Natal de alguns anos atrás do meu irmão Eduardo. Já li mas com certeza irei reler nessa nova edição.
